After the informed consent is signed it is time to get down to business. An IV is started to infuse the stem cells by IV Blood tubing once they are harvested by Dr. Rudder and concentrated by the FDA approved Arthrex Angel Machine.
The patient is placed on their side and the iliac crest is mapped out and marked by the physician using an ultrasound device.
Dr. Rudder is training other physicians to do this process while this picture was taken.
Bone marrow is aspirated through a specially prepared syringe to keep the biological product from clotting during the process.
The Arthrex Angel Machine concentrates platelet rich plasma or stem cells to obtain the desired concentration prescribed by the physician for the desired effect. This could vary according to site of injury or type of tissue that is the target for therapy.
This could be a shoulder or knee.

Using a special filtered blood tubing the concentrated stem cell biological product is put into a saline solution and given IV for total body enhanced healing.
