IPL Laser Hair Removal (LHR) & Skin Rejuvenation

Laser hair removal is one of the most commonly done procedures in the US. It beams highly concentrated light into hair follicles.  The pigment in the follicles absorbs the light and destroys the hair follicles.  Lasers help remove unwanted hair from the face, leg, chin, back, arm, underarm, bikini line, and other areas.  

Precision:  Lasers can selectively target dark, coarse hair while leaving the surrounding skin undamaged

Speed:  Each laser pulse takes a fraction of a second and can treat many hair follicles simultaneously.  The laser can treat an area approximately the size of a quarter every second.  Small areas such as the upper lip can be treated in less than a minute, and larger areas, such as the back or legs, may take up to an hour.  

Predictability:  Most patient have permanent hair loss after an average of 3 to 7 sessions.  

Intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy, aka photofacial, is a way to improve the color and texture of your skin without surgery.  It can undo some visible damaged caused by sun exposure - called photoaging.  You may notice it mostly on your face, neck, hands, or chest.  IPL may help if you have red, brown, or splotchy skin because of a health condition.  IPL used light energy to target a specific color in you skin.  When the skin is heated, your body gets rid of the unwanted cells, which get rid of what you're being treated for.  Unlike lasers, an IPL device sends out more than one wavelength of pulsating light.  It can treat a range of skin conditions at the same time.  After IPL, you may look younger because you skin tone is more even.  And since the light doesn't hurt other tissue, you can get better quickly.

Bringing in a new service has a few costs, such as an increased payment on equipment, marketing, insurance, and training.  To help offset some of the cost we are trying to sell as many treatment packages as we can before the summer sun sets in and our laser services will be limited until the clowdy days of Fall come again.
